fine art dog photography

crafted for those who refuse to wait until “someday”

You know that 2am moment scrolling through blurry iPhone snaps, wishing you had just one image that truly captured who they were? That ache in your chest? That’s love. And that’s why we’re here.

Dogs give us 10–13 years if we’re lucky. One day they’re bounding through the house… then suddenly they’re gray around the muzzle, sleeping harder, leaning into you more. Blink, and the season shifts.

You can’t slow time, but you can choose to honor it. What you create at our studio in Kirkland becomes the story you hold onto later, something worthy of the loyalty, devotion, and soul-level connection you share.

Because they aren’t “pets.” They’re family. And family deserves more than files lost to an old phone or forgotten in the cloud. They deserve art that lasts.

Session day is their day. Some own the room immediately. Others need treats, patience, and permission to just be. With years of pet photography experience, we capture personality without forcing performance.

We'll plan the set, the props, the styling—all designed around your vision and their personality. Lighting that creates depth and soul. Backdrops that complement your space. Details that feel timeless, not trendy.

shall we begin?

Crafted For:
For those who understand that unconditional love doesn’t always come in human form.

Every dog photography session includes the complete fine art experience: studio time, artistic direction, museum-quality painterly retouching, and your choice of archival wall art or matted prints presented in an heirloom-quality leather folio box, handcrafted in Italy.

The starting collection begins at $1,100. Most clients invest $1,500–$2,300 depending on the number of portraits and sizes they choose for their home.

Digital-only collections are not available.  However, your investment does include your final chosen, artist-retouched images in digital format for personal use, as well as any behind-the-scenes video captured during your pet’s photography session, delivered on a beautiful handcrafted leather USB keepsake.

FAQs

My dog isn't "well-behaved." Will that be a problem?

Absolutely not. Perfect behavior is never required here. Anxious? Reactive? Thinks "sit" is a polite suggestion? I've photographed them all, and honestly? Those personalities make for the most interesting portraits.

Can we include family members in the portraits?

Yes. Some of the most emotional portraits include the humans who love them—kids curled up with their best friend, you holding the dog who saved you, the whole family together. We'll discuss what feels right during consultation.

Do you shoot in-studio or outdoor?

Studio only. And here's why that's better for everyone: no off-leash chaos; no squirrels derailing the entire session; no weather gambling. Just a calm, controlled environment where your pet can relax, get treats, and actually enjoy themselves.

HOW LONG DOES a pet photography session TAKE?

Plan for 60-90 minutes, but we're never watching the clock. Some pet are ready to perform in twenty minutes. Others need breaks, snacks, and a little extra time. We finish when we've captured the magic—not when a timer goes off.

CAN I RECEIVE THE RAW FILES FROM MY SESSION?

RAW files are not available for release. As part of a fully guided, high-end portrait experience, every final image is hand-edited with care to meet our artistic and technical standards. Just as a designer wouldn’t send out unfinished sketches, we only deliver the final, polished artwork because you deserve nothing less than exceptional.

CAN I BRING MULTIPLE PETS?

Absolutely. Group portraits of your whole pack are some of my favorites. Just know that coordinating multiple pets takes longer (and more treats), so plan accordingly. We can do individual portraits plus group shots in one session.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We'll create a payment structure that works for your budget during our consultation. Typically, a deposit to secure your date, with the balance split over 2 payments. The goal is making this accessible, not stressful.
